The Facilities at Barr Lake RV Park
The City of Denver
The "Queen City of the Plains," "Gateway to the Rockies," or the "Mile High City" Denver has many names.
Denver's mild climate of only 15 inches of precipitation a year and more annual hours of sunshine than
Miami or San Diego makes Denver an enjoyable place to visit. A variety of attractions include free walking
tours, the US Mint, the Denver Art museum (with the world's greatest collection of Indian art), the Capitol
and the Denver Museum of Natural History create an ideal learning and touring environment. The 16th Street
Mall and specialty shops in Cherry Creek offer shopper's entertainment all day long. The 20-mile long Platte
River Greenway is home to the Children's Museum, Ocean Journey, and Six Flags. Denver's many parks include
2,314 acre Genesee Mountain Park. This is Denver's first and largest mountain park, where bison live and
historic landmarks are abundant. Exciting night life, restaurants from casual to elegant, the second-largest
performing arts center in the nation, as well as the 2 time Stanley Cup winning Colorado Avalanche, 2 time
Super Bowl Champions the Denver Broncos, and the Colorado Rockies, there is something for everyone in Colorado's capital.
